9ff Wheels

I am trying to decide on wheels (among other mods). I still can't make up my mind between 18"/19" issue. I'm limiting my search to what I can get shipped to me here in Bahrain. These are available for shippment and thought I'd ask if anyone saw these in person.

Any opnions? size and offsets are:
9ff wheels for 996 tt
2 x Rims FR-1-18 9 x 18โ€ ET 36
Weight : 21 lbs Front
2 x Rims FR-1-18 11 x 18โ€ ET 30
Weight : 22 lbs Rear
4 x Central lock System

Rodis is infamous around these parts
I haven't seen them in person but some pics of the wheel. I feel that thewheel has too many spokes. But I like the look of an HRE 543. Have you seen the 543. Similar wheel, just 10 spokes. My vote: No 9ff - Yes HRE 543

As for 18's or 19's, with the tt definately 19's. 19's makes the car look great in many types of wheels. 18's look good with only certain types of wheels, but thats just my opinion. It also depends on what you preference is, stictly looks or performance. A lot of guys on the board say 18's are better from a performance aspect. The decision on wheels is always a difficult one. I have had 3 sets of wheels already and I've only had my car for 5 months. I guess you keep trying until you find the one that just jumps out at you. . . or until your reserve money is gone. Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck.

Ron

check out the for sale board. There are a lot of wheels for sale and you may find something interesting. I have HRE's for sale there too.
