okay, i'm just givin' ya a hard time. from a woman's stand point....something tells me that she's just not into cars. if she has an issue with you spending $ on mods....i'd remind her that every time she has her hair, nails, tanning, vacation, clothes, etc.....well, those are "mods" for her. it's give and take! why can't she just let you enjoy your toy? as long as you can afford it....enjoy it!

 

true...my GF respects what I do and knows better, she is awesome and is there for me everytime all the time...mods and all!

 

Last week the wife caught me "modding" again. When I came home today there was another car in the driveway. Not much I can say about that.

 

No need to ask... unless you are spending her money...

 

My wife had to go because she was a *&^%$. My new girlfriend has no issues with my mods and justs laughs when I do something to it. You have to figure out what works with you and yours.

 

That I am spending the $$$ if she likes it or not. So far she does not care at all. I try to buy her new cars every few months so she does not really care!

 

Thanks thats a good idea, she does go shopping for hours on end during the weekend. Clothes is her main objective her excuse is "when I was younger I did'nt have much clothes because we could'nt afford them". She still the world to me! To confess to you guys I bought a 2006 350z touring and put close to 18,000k in mods and only have 4k miles on it in 1 year, thats why she is nervous about my Porsche, because she knows modding it will be 3 times that much easily! I need to stop this madness!

You guys are funny. I don't hide it and I don't ask permission. It's not like a Porsche Turbo as a third car is frugal cheap to begin with. She knows that **** is my toy.

 

remember....if YOU make it....then YOU can spend it. as long as she's not driving around in a pinto...what's the prob? are you spending HER money? no. it's probably BOTH of your money. that is, if she works? i hope so! thank god i have a P car and my husb. has his own. we just mod them together. it's like a sexual experience!! haha! you should try! hehehe! nah, but seriously, MODERATION is the key! just don't blow your wad all at once. little by little...you know.
