I ran a search and even with all of the iPod threads I can't find what I'm looking for. I use both iPod and MP3 players. I'm am looking for a way to get an aux input/female plug for my '04 navi head unit. Something I can mount discreetly. I don't want to do an FM modulator antenna hook up due to poor quality in my experience.

Is there anything out there that provides just a hardwired aux in? Thanks

 

Dension gateway 500 is the only answer that seems to work reliably. You have MOST and there are not a lot of options.

 

Yes the Dension offers iPod direct port, USB direct port and a aux port. When I forget my iPod I drop a memory stick in with my mp3s. Works very well!
