What the Doc (Tom) said^^^!!!!

Without a doubt a flash. Big difference

PorschePhd Aug 24, 2007 08:31 AM

Some flashing on the ECU!!!

Def. need to get a flash. Do it right the first time go with GIAC, UMW, or Protomotive. I have an Upsolute, it's alright, but I should have just waited instead of being young, dumb, and quick to buy the cheapest thing (which isn't the same I found out).

Flash will make it seem like you have a different car.........in a good way!!!!
Gotta do it.

I'd recommend a short-shift kit, if you don't already have one...

I would vote flash or a nice set of wheels......

ECU. SSK...

IMHO, if you get an ECU that makes a lot of torque, the clutch will depend on a lot including your driving style/skill and just some luck.

Also, BOV's are usually recommended with more boost. I did the ECU and BOV's as a package.....then had to do the clutch. I have had sticks with original clutches over 150k miles....driving hard. Actually broke gears in one tranny (Audi S4 1992) with no issues with the clutch.

With the clutch, I did a light weight flywheel too....see my threads on this site and rennlist.... Love the car now. Loved it then. But now it has more power.

Good luck.
