buying a TT, any suggestions

selling my 996 c4 cab, to get a car with some real power. was just going to do the super charger, but what for, might as well buy a tt. really want a gt-2 for handling reasons, but can't afford it. must do mod: coilovers, wheels, techart type 2 front, shortshifter, exhaust, gt-3 seats, aero hood, remove rear seats, front fender flares 3/4" to run 9.5" wheel. any body make an ECU that brings up the rev limiter. any other mods or faulty parts i will need?

Whoa!!! Slow down It's difficult to tell what you want from your post. Are you looking to purchase a 996TT and modify it, or modify your cab? Try asking again more clearly, and you will get more results

i am trying to buy a TT and wanted to know what are the things i should look out for. i heard about some diverter valve problems. so i wanted to know if there might be other issues with the TT.
the list of mods is to see if anyone would say that it might not be a good idea.

Eric, take it one step at a time. If you are really into handling, why not just stay with 18 wheels, and start with the suspension. Exhaust is definently nice. ecu can void the warrentee??. If you are short on cash, the cosmetic stuff can wait. As far as the shifter goes their are many types available. Some do not like the b&m short shifter console mount and prefer under car transmission linkage mount. Not as notchy. You have the choice of settings. Good luck finding what you want. I was spoiled once I drove the turbo. I know what you are going through. You just recently drove Ron's and Arling's car. What ever it takes, go for it.
