Are Laser Jammers legal in CA?

Hi,

Are Laser Jammers legal in CA?

I'm about to order the Bel LaserPro 904 but are not sure if they are legal in CA.

I called CHP and they don't seem to know for sure and just say they that they are NOT legal.

I'd like to know the specific text of the law that makes them legal or illegal.

I am not 100% but I believe that laser jammers are illegal most everywhere. I have always used K40's personally.

laser jammer and diffuser are different names for the same thing....

They're legal in most states, but not in CA from everything I've heard.
Diffuser and jammer are the same, and since it's light and not radio or radar waves, they're not federally illegal as a radar jammer is because of the FCC who governs those things. No one governs light, so it's up to each state to outlaw. Of course, everything is illegal in the liberal cesspool of CA (LOL... just kidding about the cesspool part) and so are laser jammers.
