PDE at Barber Motorsports

I am scheduled for the Porsche Driving Experience at Barber Motorsports on May 4 and 5th. I really am looking forward to learning to drive a 911 and seeing the difference from my Boxsters. This will be my first time driving a rear engined car at the track and hopefully will incent me to track my '04 tt cab - if it ever arrives.

Since I just sold my Boxster S, I am now only driving my Mini Cooper S, which is great, but this is the first time in over 20 years there is no Porsche in my garage.

Tell Doc and Jeff and Christian and Jeff and the boys I said Hi. I just saw David Murry and Doc Bundy and Hurley Haywood at the Rennsport II and all looked to be doing very well. You will have a chance to autocross the Boxster (one of the events) during your course. Bring a video camera to film the Hot lap with the instructors at the end. It will also be nice to film the commentary when in the van about apex turn in out etc. Have a ball. Practice the heel toe shifting before you get there.
If you really want to help out here at the board, see if you can get someone to tell you how they rig PSM off button so it doesn't go back on as soon as you hit the brakes. This feature is used on the skid pad. They will want to know why and tell them that the track guys are wanting to have this option while tracking their cars.
