Cool Ruf 993 Turbo R vs GT2 with EUROPIPE (video)

Here's a video of a Ruf 993 Turbo R vs GT2 with EUROPIPE exhaust. GT2 is using 91 octane, Ruf is using 100 octane. IMHO, the cars accelerate nearly the same.

Thanks. The front stretch of Willow provides less than 1/2 mile to play with, so things happen fast! We're hitting about 150 MPH into the first turn.

Adam,

It's a bit of a mystery how the Ruf 993 turbo cars compare to the 996 turbo cars. Here's 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4 mile times Road & Track magazine published over the years:

1997 Ruf CTR-2: 3.6, 7.9, 11.4@133.7 (55 deg)
1987 Ruf CTR: 4.0, 7.3, 11.7@133.5 (no temp)
2002 Ruf R Turbo: 3.8, 8.1, 11.9@122.7 (105 deg)
2002 Porsche GT2: 3.6, 8.9, 11.9@120.6 (62 deg)

I haven't seen Turbo R numbers published. However, an R&T person told me 3.3 0-60 and 8.0 0-100.
