Whats up NYC
I stopped driving my Turbos into New York after the third bent wheel! (2 on the "92" one on the "2002").
I'm lucky in that I have alternatives and my other cars work the New York route. When I'm going to my New Jersey office, the Tubos are the first choice.

I feel you pain...I busted a couple of tires and rims because of crater size potholes..Its just the way it is in NYC, drive slow and use your autocross skills.
I guess you won't be driving your TT in Manhattan this Friday?

i cracked my 19" TechArts a few months back when I got a flat in Times Square. Not a pretty scene
and broke my TechArt bumper
it's a war zone going to work everyday =D
my most recent piece of work, car is still in the bodyshop!

Now you know why I don't drive the Turbo's into the big city!
In addition to bent Porsche rims, I've also bent 3 Lexus wheels (one into an oblong shape) and an Audi TT wheel, in my New York commutes.
That's all with 17" and 18" wheels. When I hear someone talk about 19" wheels, I cringe!

oh yeah... Don't think I'll be able to make it down there though
