oh yea, symptoms are when starting vehicle it will feel like you are stepping on a brick. very hard pedal, then as it warms up the fluid will finally come up.
the accumulator fills the slave, when it goes bad the slave does not get all the hydralic fluid it needs. it will get worse over time.

hope that helps

Symptoms is a clutch pedal that gets harder to press. I had one replaced about 45k miles.

Dealer came back and offer replacement of a tranny coming from another 03 turbo and will also take care of defective clutch accumulator. Speed Gallerry will be doing the work.

Don't you want to know why this tranny is coming out of the other 03 turbo? I am thinking maybe you are replacing a bad tranny with another bad one? Just a thought.

My opinion would be to go find a Porsche without the same number of issues. There are many available, even if they are not the same year. Remember, don't buy the car unless your satisfied.

Yeah, Id insist on a new tranny with warranty. Its also my understanding that even a new tranny will eventually develop the problem. no?

Why would the dealership sell the car with the pop out issue?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but sitting here on the sidelines, it's easier to say ..move on. Unless this is everything you ever wanted in a Pcar,
I would consider... keep looking. To me it's really a buyers market right now, especially with the newer models coming on the scene. Either way, good luck!!

The "dealer" is desperate to sell. There is something really WRONG with this scenerio. Find another car.
