Yes, the BOV does replace the 2 diverter valves. It gives better response to releasing all the back pressure air then the factory diverter valves.

Is there a power range for which this unit is designed? If it will work for modified cars, what is max hp capacity?

Maximum horsepower range is 550 HP, but we've seen cases of even more. It maxes out @ 30 PSI

we have lots 700plus hp cars are running the hks blow off also.

out of curiosity - in the video it looks like only the rear wheels are turning - but I think the car is a stock TT, so it has 4WD. For the test, did you disconnect the drive shaft to the front?

Yes, we removed the driveshaft to dyno the 996TT.

It does... that's why you have to pull the dront driveshaft in order to dyno on a 2-wheel-dyno.

In fact, unless the front and rear rollers are mechanically linked (aka, Mustang Dyno), you should only dyno with driveshaft off. Even on a Dynojet, the front and rear rollers are not mechanically connected and actually have different inertia specs... you'd burn up the center dif after a few pulls.

so is that really difficult to remove the drive shaft or is it common place for these sorts of things
