Turbo Oil Line Replacment
Turbo Oil Line Replacment
I'm looking for a little help for some of our board tech's. I'm replacing the stock turbos, going to the K24's for now. The nuts that attach the intake pipe to the oil collection container are rusted (badly), do you guys typically replace that line when you see this? Got it covered in anti-seize over night, and will give it a go tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt think there would be any need to replace them IMO. Just get a quality flare nut wrench and try not to strip it. If all goes to hell take it off with a pipe wrench and replace if you desire.
You have done the correct thing in soaking it overnight, You then need to work it back and forth with a quick action, hopefully you will hear it snap (good sign, lol) as the thread has released from the inside tank. I find these are very similar to brake lines that can seize up a little bit.
