What would you guys consider too high mileage on a 996TT? If I'm looking at a 2002, is 50K too much? When do things tend to break? If the PPI comes out clean and there is not 2nd gear pop out, what mileage would you guys consider the upper limit?

 

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. If I were to buy a used TT, I'd buy it from someone that's benn posting everything about his car on this forum. Honest. Most of the guys here take exellent care of their cars.

 

I dont think 50k is high at all....these engines are bulletproof when taken care of correctly. If they have been on this forum..they are probably fanatics like everyone else on here.

 

If you're looking at a 50K+ mileage car, do yourself a favor and look at Club411's 2003 X-50 car in the auto's for sale section.
