orlando, not so sure about cali rates, but jersey is infamous for having the highest premiums in the country, just check with some of the board members who live here. i own an insurance agency and see this question quite often, one simple way to carve your premium away is to increase your deductibles on your comp and collision coverages from the standard 500 to 1000, possible savings of 400-600 per year per vehicle (depending on the car of course) i have 3 cars all with full coverage and 1000 deductibles with the highest statutory limits and pay 1900 for the year!!!!!

Thanks; Wawanessa quoted me $1200 for the year for 2 sports cars (a 996 tt and a Mustang cobra), plus a SUV

You are right; jack up the deductible and the rate goes down; thanks.

One OT question... I haven't been jet in USA
but does this insurance cover all accidents you made: Like when U accidently crash with another car, then insurance company cover both car repairing cost and hospitaly bills.
And when your vechile is stolen or get in fire, insurance give you ~90% of car value in money.
Here is just like this and I pay 6500$ per year(cheapest offer)

Tell your insurance company you are using it as a "recreational vehicle" (I think it is less than 7000 miles/yr.) and you will see another discount.

Try www.westfieldgrp.com

I use them every day for my clients and they are in Ohio too.......find an agent close by and inquire about the "Wespak Estate" package policy. It should cover that CGT no problem.

If you want more info, PM me and we can talk about it...

I have State Farm Ins and live in Santa Barbara County, still considered Southern Calif. and pay a little under $1,000 per year. It would be lower if Calif didn't Socialize the Insurance , figin' commys.

I am also with Wawanesa, and I have them for the last 3 years. I called pretty much all the names out there before I got insured with them. All 3 of my cars are insured with them. They have the best rates, but there are couple of thing you need to know before you go with them.

1. They cover cars up to $80,000. That is their Max covarage on any car. If you own a newer TT and anything to happen to your car you are you are tough out of luck. If it gets stolen or you end up totaling your car max you will recieve is $80K.

2. It was a hell dealing with them when my Nissan Titan was damaged in the parking lot at my office. Maybe it was just the moron claims adjuster I ended up with but If they were not reasonable priced I would have droped them last year. I guess with every dolar you save you pay with an inconvinience. WOW I just made that up, I should get it registered, anyways basicaly in this case you get what you pay for. IMHO!

State farm, had them since I've been 18. Paying $500 every six months for full coverage on the TT and liability on the discovery.
