Titan Motorsports : K24/18G Complete Kit with Greddy EBC - $6,195
Excellent marketing plan. Btw, you're doing great job educating the Supra forum about 996TT. I really enjoy reading your posts on there.
Tony @ EPL and Todd @ Protomotive have great tunes available and much more experience with this factory ECU. We did a ton of research and these 2 shined above the rest.
We are working on our factory plug and play Motec which should be available in the coming months. It's not economical to use a setup like this on a K24/18G kit as the hardware is more expensive, but as we release much higher HP offerings, the motec and tilton clutches will allow us to estabolish new boundries for those wanting to be king of the hill.
What if you could run a bolt-on GT30 setup, PNP system, tilton clutch, and complete big intercooler/hardpipe kit, all purchased from the same place and made for the 996TT and offered as a complete upgrade package....we shall see what the future holds. We're not going to put a kit out that we havent' personally tested and beat on harder than most of our customers would, but this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as what we've got in the works.

I'll have more updates now that the ADRL season ends this weekend and we can get back to having fun. We're in the process of racing, building our new 20,000sq/ft headquarters and dealing with permitting, and having our website reprogrammed, needless to say a lot on the plate, but still trying to fit the 996 development in. I finally have all the parts we need for the silver car, sans suspension and hope to get started on it next week, worst case it will get it's "custom paint".....more to come on that Monday

Thanks for the gracious comments. Just like everything we try and do here at Titan, we like to go all out. The company is filled with racers and enthusiast's even down to the book keepers. We like all forms of Motorsports, since this past weekend we had customers attending and setting new records at the TX Mile, The Titan Drag program set the new national record and quickest ET in the 10.5W class. Onelove/Wes was out at Roebling road getting more track experience and supporting some of our road racing customers when at the same time one of our customers were also Wes's instructor.
We're all about racing, hell we just want to fund the addiction and being around it all the time sure does help us go fast and help our customers win at whatever venue they attend.

I'm telling you guys from experience that Titan Motorsports is the real deal. Their customer service is unmatched and their products are top notch. One thing these guys have that very few do is RACING EXPERIENCE!! They have the best people working with them, their products are tried and tested, and most of all it is PROVEN! I have no doubt in my mind that these guys will bring the 996/997 platform to a level no one here has dreamed of just like what they have done with the Supra. Expect nothing but the best from these guys at unbeatable (realistic) prices.
You can follow the entire process online at our blog, the 996 specific content is linked below.

To those who are curious about the boost controller and it's function. The boost controller allows you to adjust the boost per the fuel you are using and fine tune your setup. I've driven my car around on pump gas and always figured I would leave it as it was. This weekend I got a bit greddy and put some MS109 in the car and turn the dial on the controller up a bit. The results are below.
1.15 Bar on Pump Gas : 60-130 7.88
1.31 Bar on Race Gas : 60-130 7.04
The car dropped over 3/4 a second from 60-130. That is acceleration that you can truly feel when driving the car, and when I'm ready to switch back to pump gas all I have to do is fill the tank with 93 and press 1 button on the Profec B to switch the car back to pump gas. No reflashing the ECU, no fancy tuning, just press 1 button and enjoy the car at it's previous level. When I'm ready to go to the track again I press another button and enjoy race mode.
We can piece a custom kit together with options deleted or added for those who are interested as well.

At What Hp Level Would You Recomend Carillo Rods?
I've Heard That The Threshold On The Stock Rods Is @ Apr. 650-700hp At Which Point They Start Twisting From The Monstous Torque.
What Would It Cost To Have Titan Install These Rods?
What About The Crank?
Keep Up The Good Work Wes...............g

In my opinion if you run this setup properly you should not have to worry about the rods. That being said we are working on packages for those wanting to push things a bit further, email Nero and he can get you some quotes on engine packages. We're working on a line of performance hard parts for those who want to have their engines built, we've also talked about having a built engine on the shelf, but that is a way out for now.
We're bringing this one back for a 2nd Round.

My car has the K24/16 set-up. It runs great, tons of power with minimal to no lag. Could you explain the theory behind this set-up. I was told that the bigger housing gives it the big power while the internal swap gives it the fast spool up time thus minimal lag. Is this true? Please explain.
Pretty simple, the K24's over the K16's have a bigger turbine wheel which is more efficient. The 18G is the compressor wheel side (intake side) which is a bigger wheel then the K24's so they flow more air which produces more horsepower. So the turbo is a Hybrid turbo that's been developed on the Porsche market and works very well in this market. I'm not sure who tested this product first but I heard about it from Todd @ Protomotive first and he's been very instrumental in the K24/18G market with his tune's and promoting this package.
