Thumbs up Special on 996 X-Pipe Exhaust Systems (by Speedtech)

PM for pricing that cannot be beat!! Our 3-piece exhaust configuration is designed to mount to factory mounting points. Purchase all three at once or slowly build your 996 one component at a time and enjoy each stage.

Headers: High-flow design. Polished SS.

X-Flow mid-Pipe: 200 cell high-flow mid-pipe or optional catless. Approximate HP gain of 10HP over factory mid-pipes. This helps refine the exhaust note to pure symphony over traditional dual pipe designs.

Traditional OEM Style mid-Pipe: 200 cell high-flow mid-pipe or optional catless. Approximate HP gain of 10HP over factory mid-pipes.

Cat-back: Designed to provide a more aggressive note vs the OEM system. There is no cabin drone with this cat-back. For best performance and a more aggressive sound we recommend upgrading the mid-pipes as well. Polished mirror finish, re-use OEM tips for factory look.

PM for pricing or any questions.

should it be necessary to have to trim some material off the high flow cat to muffler junction point? In my particular case, the tubing overlaps the muffler tubing by about 3cm on each side. any advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Ted

Normally not, but if in your particular case the pipes are working out to be a little long for the Gemballa mufflers, trimming 3 cm off is fine to achieve a proper fit. Another option would be to loosen the muffler - it may have that degree of play in the mounting.

Please PM me a price on the cats. I'm interested in the X-pipe version, but will you please explain the benefits of this over the traditional cats? Also, is this a direct bolt-on modification, and will I have issues with installation of O2 sensors or any CELs?
