Billsteins or H&R?
I have always used Bilstein PSS9's on my cars (except my golf I have FK Konigsport) and I really like them a lot. If you set them up properly you will have a smoother ride than stock and have that aggressive handling and stance that everyone desires from their coil overs. I think the overwhelming consensus here will be the Bilstein PSS9 set up. However I personaly do not think there is anything wrong with H&R's coil overs but for an extra few hundred dollars I think you will enjoy the adjustable dampening.
I had Bilsteins installed on my BMW 633CSI and they were outstanding! Although the stock suspension on the 6 was terrible.
I hear good things from both products. I think it depends on how you intend to drive the car.

Bilsteins....Heres why...H&R make springs...Bilsteins makes shocks....what do you think the most inportant aspect of the coilover system is? I would say great shocks...Even when people go with H&R springs, they go with Bilstein shocks...so I would go with tried and true proven Bilstein....Lifetime warranty is nice too....
