Finally a fun car...

Hello!

This is my first post - just thought I'd say hi rather than lurking around...

Found this site a few days ago (the car's been mine for a week) - I know I'll learn alot and glad to see all the helpful advice & friendly chat! Took some time to get the camera out (the car's not clean - been too busy driving) and wanted to wait until I had pics...

Been too long between fun cars (15 years & 4 kids to be exact). This time, the fun one is a Porsche - figured folks here would know what that's like.

Everyone here can probably tell by the pic (even the mileage, from what I've seen) but it's a 2002 C4 Cab, 25K miles, manual.

Happy driving...!

Get this - my wife is the one that said, "We need to buy that car" when we walked by it and saw it was for sale - an hour or so later it was ours - I wasn't stupid enough to say "no"!

So, now that she spent all the money on the car, I figure I get to spend some money on mods... what would you do first? performance, looks, combo? I don't understand half the abbrevs used for mods - I have to google them to understand half the conversations around here... but I'll learn!

Suspension...Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
Aero Package...Porsche GT3 bumper, skirts, TT rear bumper modified to fit narrow body
Wheels....many many options from Porsche to aftermarket, but go with something lighter than stock!

With those mods you will have a better performing car, and enhance the looks,

Grab some side skirts for openers, very dramatic mod.
19" wheels, HRE's for example.
PSS9's
Free up the airflow..... EVO air intake, ECU, exhaust, plenum....
OH B&M short shift kit is the best $200. mod one can do to their PCar
Then you can look into new front and rear bumpers and add a wing.

OR none of the above and enjoy your amazing car!

edit: by looking to your right you will see the board sponsors, use them frequently and often.
