new developement idea MUST SEE

i had a thought, if someone knows some carbon fiber guys that can remove the carpet area on the doors and put on a carbonfiber cap. someone should make a mold and sell these, i believe it would blow up and i mean like a nuclear explosion, possibly sell the idea to porsches. anyone up for a project, maybe the 6speeders can get together and develop this and market it. imagine black, silver or yellow carbonfiber, or even color matches to the outside of your car. if someone is going to capitolize on this project remember i was the first to bring it up so i would like one for at least cost. please feel free to send me money for R&D.

Only a million? Looks like we may need some Venture Capitalist help. Let's see the business plan! What's the ROI?!?!?!

Maybe I can free up some cash from the Cayman Islands account...

I've seen this part in leather before and it looks real good. I think the guy who owns the car is Erik from Sweden? It's the TT with all the leather options.

im in for teh development deal, now what we need is a guinea pig door

we should all chip in and buy one form the junkyard.. or soemthing..

if worst comes to worst i will sacrifice my door as the guinea pig, we just need someone local to do it..

i got the cheap vinyl doors so, i dont mind it getting messed up..

hey eric any hook ups on the cf stuff?

I know people who already do carbon fiber. They supposedly have a very special method that allows complicated shapes with no seams or whatever that is. I just remember being shocked by their prices! LMAO
I'll try and find a picture of the exact part you're mentioning (having no 996 in my garage ) and ask them what they think about it (cost, complexity of building ...etc etc). Anyone got a picture of the backside of this part? The one we can't see?

www.carbonfibrefx.com told me awhile ago they will make just about any part for a production car with an order of ten pieces or more.
