I started out 5 years ago on the boards when I bought my Boxster. CFG had his first Porsche back then, a Boxster. Funcars did not exist. The 996 board was owned by someone else.
Some people had issues with CFG. Thus, 6speed.
One day, over a year ago, I could not post on CFG's board. My friend is a moderator there so I asked him why. GFG thought I posted **** pictures. Not me. Then my friend asked me if I wanted back on since it was a mistake and they were hurting for users. Nope. I went over to 6speed.
Too bad this kind of stuff is here. Makes me want to go back to Funcars.
Ban a guy for a hoax ebay ad.
I think most people with average intelligence would check out the web address on the ad and find out "membership" is free before they placed a bid.

Guys, I hate to butt in but heres an opinion. The administrators of this board will often know alot more behind the scenes than most users. Often it is best to not second guess their decisions and allow them to sort things out privately with the member in question. I know as an admin on another forum that sometimes people question my actions and they often don't realize that I am withholding information for the best interest of the banned user. I'm sure our admins here are intelligent enough and very capable of making a decision once the heat settles down. Let's give them that fair chance and not jump to conclusions.

Guys, you can change that to read anything you want...
I am guessing that Eric changed his himself, but who knows.
There are those that take copyright and trademark issues very seriously, and perhaps rightly so.

NOne of the admins banned him - i have emailed with everyone - i have no clue WTF happened here - but joke or not erdie should have responded to my emails asking WTF this ebay thing was joke or scam or whatever - i am sure if it was for funcars or rennlist Dunkle and Kramer would be all over this faster then us like white on rice
