Thanks. I ordered from Crutchfield, and they are supplying this adapter:

Looks like it should work, hopefully!

Hey-

Install went fine using the Crutchfield adapter. I had to call them and work a few issues out exclusive to this JVC head unit. Works great now, much better than the Becker unit!

So how do the RCA's work? Those go into the back of the new receiver's preouts & they then connect to the harness' speaker input which then goes to the amp?

I have a 2004 base stereo & need help.

If your new head unit has 4 rca outs, then that's a straight plug n play. My JVC receiver had only 2 preamp outs, so I had to split them and plug the front and rear speakers into the same channels.

Not sure how you change out a MOST stereo HU though. Mine is pre-MOST.

Antenna Adapter and Harness

I have the CDR223 Most system non BOSE. From all my research I have just ordered the 70-1787 for my new JVC head unit. I made sure it had 2 sets of pre outs. Can someone confirm this is the only harness I will need? There has been some mixed info that you need both the 70-1784 and 70-1787. Also, does someone have the part number of the antenna adapter? Thanks
