Porsche Cold Weather

Whats up guys. In the Northeast getting a little cool out . But had the car out 2nite for a bit. With the cool weather it feels like my car throttle response is much better and it seems quicker. Am I loosing it or does anybody else notice this in the colder weather? I dont have a CAI but was wondering if you have one of those it would be even better. I dunno just asking Thanks Guys

Not an expert, but with the cooler air being more denser you get more volume into the combustion chamber this will give you better throttle response and SLIGHTLY more power...

I was going to say something similar but Asialors said what I was thinking. I always pick a nice dry winter day to take my summer cars out for this reason.

I agree with asialors996. Cooler air provides a denser charge & you can feel the difference. A crisp 50 degree day will always feel different than an 80 degree muggy day.

I was out in my C2 996 Cab last night and felt the same thing. I attributed it to the K&N Air Filter that I just installed, but what you guys say makes a lot of sense.

oh yeah... cold air can make a very noticeable difference. Especially on turbo-charged cars.
