I don't know how quiet or loud the Fabspeed quiet system is, but I have the Maxflo system as well. This system sounds a bit more subtle that the MaxFlo but is still a bit too loud in cabin for me.

I can still carry on a conversation and listen to the radio, but there is some resonance that I don't care for.

I have talked with the owner of M&K this morning (apparently some of you are contacting him) and he told me that I should have the production tips for this system by early next week. He also told me that he could install some internal baffles/batting that would tone the resonance down quite a bit. If that can be done, while still allowing for the external sound you hear, I would keep this system in a heartbeat!

In person, this system sounds pretty much as it does on the video. It's not too loud that while driving normally you draw all sorts of attention to yourself however, as shown in the video, once you are at WOT and you are above 4,000RPMS, this system screams!

I'm not far from Chicago and I plan on going to M&K (which is in WI) next week with my car to have the baffles designed (provided no one purchases the used system). If anyone in Chicago wants to hear this system in person, I could make the time to meet up.

If any of you have any questions you want me to ask, I'll do my best to keep you all informed.

Yep, that's exactly what this looks like. For reference, the cans are about 14 inches long, 8 inches high and are about 7 inches in width.

My Fabspeed (Maxflo) sounds like stock. Only above 4500 RPM the sound is loud but not that loud. One of the meet that I attended, we have cars with GHL, Agency Power, Gembella, Ruf, TechArt and Cargraphic all testing to see which one has the best sound both at low and high RPM. My Fabspeed Maxflo was the quite one. Another friend also has Fabspeed and his piece is quite too. We both were disappointed. The best sound was GHL. Cargraphic was close second.

I'm thinking to switch exhaust and sell my Fabspeed that I owned for 9 months with 2,300 miles.

The exhaust sounds very nice. Far better than the fabspeed or the cargraphic. Do you know if it makes power ?

Thanks Denis. I have a baseline with the stock exhaust, another with the Fabspeed MaxFlo and another with the FabSpeed Bypass Pipes, but none with this system yet.

Unfortunately, I'll need to start all over with the stock system in place again as the variables in dynos is too great to really rely on the numbers from 2 months ago.

very very true. When you change the exhausts make sure you drive the car pretty hard for a few miles or so so the ecu can relearn whats going on and compensate for the changes that were made. I have found that is an issue on our dynojet

Thanks for the info guys. So how do you compare GHL with M&K? Is GHL is more louder then M&k? GHL is couple of hundred cheaper any clips for GHL.

When they are start taking orders for M&K what is the production time.

Thanks

That's cool! I am sure you will like it. I am waiting for my Beta2 set-up which is the much quieter prototype I'll be testing for them, I should have that by next week along with the production tips for the system I am running.

pekopeeus-

The Beta1 system I have will fit your C2 Tip...and yep that $800 is shipped with the tips (once they return).

We should have a group buy for anyone who are interested. I also think the dealer should give special discount to get the product out to the masses.

If you guys are seriously wanting a group buy, I am very good friends with the manufacturer and their retailer for this system. I can get it moving for you.

However, as we all know a group buy is only as good as the commitments we get.

In addition to power, I'm wondering how much the system weighs. I figure it has to be lighter than stock but by how much?
