I had to open my hood with the emergency hood release due to issues with my key and remote, now I can't close my hood completely. Anybody ever have this issue?

when you pulled the emergency release make sure the the latch went back to its normal state... the latch might still be left open but cant close since the cable is preventing the latch to lock the hood....

Or the latch is closed preventing the hood to closed down on it.

 

You're right, it was the 2nd latch that locks the hood in place. The latch to the right was jammed some how and I had to jar it loose with a flathead. WOOOHOOO!
