as for 2fast. 99 996's range from high $20'sKto $30'K and even 40's from what I have seen. this all depends of mileage, condition and whose selling it.

What in the world does that have to do with him looking for a set of manuals?

Your 1999 911 is actually a 996. The 997 model started in 2005. You can check pelicanparts.com or rennlist.com to see if someone has an extra set of books.
