Custom Ipod dock and 10" subwoofer enclosure

Got tired of sitting my ipod on the passenger seat, so Icon TV made a dock/charger. Replaces the ash tray which I don't use anyways. Integrates nicely, and the silver ipod also matches the door sills and other trim peices in the car.

The sub enclosure was made from fiberglass and then carpeted. Even though the sub is only ~4" thick, it hits HARD. Also hardly takes any room. The grill cover had to be fabricated as the sub cone slightly protrudes. Thinking of painting it black as it looks like a colander.

Anybody have experience with tweeters firing from the backside of the rear view mirror? I've heard the Reus set up but was pretty disappointed.

Nice, what are you running in the doors? How much leg room does the passenger lose?

critical mass in the doors, stock for rear fill. with the grill cover on total thickness is ~4.5". However, as it is angled, passenger hardly loses any legroom. Plus, the wifey is petite so same difference.

What radio are you running? If you had an Ipod compatible radio, you can leave the Ipod hidden in the armrest, etc. and operate the Ipod through the headunit.
