Here's mine with 18" bbs rs-gt's.

 

So guys what you think, should I go with 18 or 19" with the Lemans BBS Gold wheels?

 

either way you cant loose... 19" looks slightly better, 18" for the slight performance increase.... will you track the car?

 

Not realy, maybe 1-2 times /year at most.

 

I agree, IMHO the gold does not go well wih the white.....maybe a gunmetal or black diamond center would be better.

Well everyone has its own taste, Im going gold, question is now 18 or 19" cant realy decide hmm...

 

If you're undecided, then go with the one that performs the best - 18".

 

go with one that looks and "performs" just as well - 19s... unless you're racing for $.

 

go 18 and save yourself the headache..

pros - looks better
cons - more expensive tires, harsher ride, more possibility of bending a rim

i have 19" TechArts for the summer and i'm back on the 18" TechArts and what a BIG difference.. the car just rides so much more compliant on the 18s

 

I think the ride also depends on the tires.... when I had 18"s I was riding on P-zero's... now with 19"s I have PS2's and I had to have lucent tighten up my pss9's because the ride was a lot more bouncier on the ps2's. P-zero's felt a lot more rough IMO.

go 18's - that 's what was designed for the car!

 

18's are what belongs to the driving performance the right choice.
Here in germany we say if you want the best performance for your 996 go for 18's if you just want to cruise arround some icecream-cafes you can put on 19's :-)

 

I'll tell you this....If you put 18"s with a lip on it and don't lower, it looks like a jacked up Jeep.
