How do they lower the seats, is there spacers???

Would like to do that to mine, I'm 6'2" as well and a little cramped with helmet on.

googling around i found a more detailed description of the option.

"LOWERED SEATS -inc: 10 mm thinner seat cushion, padded head restraints"

i sure hope they did some engineering on the cushion material. because if all they did was make it thinner, i may have saddle sores in my future. it's a $700 option! that would be a lot to pay for an aching butt.

Sweet car! I am a newbe too and just traded my 97 targa in for a 2005 c4s, 996 body style, this past weekend! Once I drove it, I had to have it! Have fun, I know I am! Once I learn how to lower the resolutions on my pictures, I will post some.
