Aerocab Wing Upgrade-need help
I am about to undertake an Aerocab wing upgrade on my 03 Cab.I have heard that once you disconnect the factory wing and install the Aerocab fixed wing ,there is a good chance of a wing error message occuring.Any ideas on how to resolve this??Also, is it better to swap out the entire deck lid and wing or disassemble each and just swap wings??Hoping someone has done this upgrade and might be able to save me a headache
Thank you

just disconnect your battery before wiring. you should have no problem. no need for the entire deck lid. if the light does appear, just go to your local porsche service center and tell them the light comes off and on and they will reset it for you free of cost.
Talk to the company that you buy the wing from, they might have a wiring harness availible so the wing error light does not come on. If not, I believe you need to jump some wires in the wings wiring harness to trick the computer.
Most manufacturers such as MASHAW will include the Porsche wiring harness that plugs directly into the factory sockets. This will keep the wing light from staying on. It'll take to at least an hour to undo the stock wing, and then 5 minutes to put on the aero cab wing.
No need to replace the whole decklid, so just swap out the wing.
