C4S low miles & price
Not quite, California cars always seem to be higher than those found in other states. I witnessed this when I was looking for my car and was prepared to travel to get it. I eventually flew from CA to AZ to pick it up.
That is about what these cars are going for. Here is another I just found in about 2 minutes worth of searching.
2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S -- $44,900

100% right!
Yes, we buy these cars for the pure enjoyment and not a resale or investment. If you worry about the resale value then you don't belong in a Pcar.
Try living over in the UK! I paid $53k for a '99 C4 with 65k on the clock, last year! You guys don't know how lucky you are with those prices. I grew up in Az and look in on Scottsdale Porsche everytine I'm back, makes me sick those prices... You get way more bang for your buck than we do...
yep i see, although some owners are really into their "classic" cars.

Wow - We in the USA might want to sell you ours in the future!!! How about this a 99' = 996 29k miles - $49,000. Such a deal!
99C2
Price is also dependent on the region you are in as well as condition of the car. To increase the value of my car I purchased a 75K mile bumper to bumper transferable warranty.
But its still a negative investment.

But of course thats not why most purchase!! Its the thrill of driving an exotic!
