As I said, it seems to be right in line with what I just paid... if you look around and do your homework, thats the kind of deal you get.

Not quite, California cars always seem to be higher than those found in other states. I witnessed this when I was looking for my car and was prepared to travel to get it. I eventually flew from CA to AZ to pick it up.

cars are never an investment, but rather a depreciating liability. You buy it because you can't enjoy driving when you're dead.

Yes, we buy these cars for the pure enjoyment and not a resale or investment. If you worry about the resale value then you don't belong in a Pcar.

Try living over in the UK! I paid $53k for a '99 C4 with 65k on the clock, last year! You guys don't know how lucky you are with those prices. I grew up in Az and look in on Scottsdale Porsche everytine I'm back, makes me sick those prices... You get way more bang for your buck than we do...

Price is also dependent on the region you are in as well as condition of the car. To increase the value of my car I purchased a 75K mile bumper to bumper transferable warranty.

But its still a negative investment.

But of course thats not why most purchase!! Its the thrill of driving an exotic!
