anybody have any experience with custom exhaust setups on p-cars using MagnaFlow or Flowmaster?

i know that debates rage about Tubi, Fabspeed, TechArt, Milltek, SpeedArt, GHL, ad nauseum. but, i've searched here, and renntech, and found very few references to MagnaFlow or Flowmaster. those brands are usually associated with muscle cars, but surely they have some engineering behind them. do they not fit in p-cars? or do they not sound as good on H6s versus V8s? or are they really poor quality?

just curious.

 

Last year, I did some research on those and found out they don't make those special cans that required.

 

I have magnaflow on my Escalade and tried to get it for my Porsche but as others said they do not make it. My mechanic said he could fabricate something with magnaflow if I wanted to. The only thing is it would cost as much as Fabspeed. I think I would rather go the Fabspeed way.

thanks guys. i guess you pay a lot one way or another. with the custom work you end up with a one-off piece that may or may not fit right. at least with the fabspeeds, etc. you get something designed for the porsche.
