Intermittent dash light question

Im the owner of a 1999C2 since Oct,2007. I have noticed that at iddle there is some intermittent dash light variation (intensity) is this normal? Iddle stabilator and MAF sensor are new. There are no warning ligths and the voltimeter is 14. Thanks

Hi Stealth996, It sounds like a bad diode in the alternator. In any case check all connection. hope this helps you out, Tim

Does it improve when you wiggle the ignition switch?

It improves when I start accelerating. I had to replace the oil filler tube at the dealer and they removed the alternator . The mechanic said the alternator had to be replaced and I told him to leave it in place because I came to change the oil filler and before his intervention the alternator was fine. So he went back to adjust some screws and said that everything was in perfect conditions. But returning home that night the flashing started and even the radio turned off for a blink and continued. The next morning I adjusted the battery terminals and it improved problem solved for a while since now I have it again. Could it be some loose screw at alternator?
