GT3 Seats - Leather or Cloth? Heat?

I am about to buy GT3 seats for my car and have a couple of questions that Search has not answered for me.

1) I realize the leather are cheaper, but are their any benefits to the cloth version? (warmer, wear, etc..)

2) I enjoy my heated seats on cooler DE days, has anyone put heat elements in a GT3 seat and connected it to the factory system? I know I can buy just the heat elements for a set of seats and have a local shop install them in the seats, just wondering if someone already makes a kit, or has experience with this.

Thanks,

I bought the leather ones since I don't park my car outside much. I would have opted for the leather either way. I actually found a set of cloth for cheaper when I was looking for my set and quickly passed....

Cloth is going to be "grippier" on your body to hold you in place for DE's, but the cloth seats are usually more expensive and harder to come across.

For me I opted for a car with full leather...so I'll probably go the leather route when I do GT3 seats too.

Search on Rennlist and there's a thread in the GT3 section from awhile back where a guy actually installed the OEM seat heater elements into his leather GT3 seats.
