Been there too. Miami here, rush hour on the turnpike. Top speed 2MPH. Mine almost passed the zero. Would like to know too...

when stuck in rush hour in austin the temp crawls up that way. also, from sustained high revs.

When your gauge is where it is at in the picture, your coolant temp is 210F+. When it gets to the right side of the "0", your getting close to 220F. Just a poor designed cooling system. Third radiator will not fix the problem. Only increased airflow and/or coolant flow will. Do my fan mod and your coolant will stay below 200F no matter what the conditions are.

Clean out the crap in front of the radiators, you'll be amazed at what you find - this did in fact keep the car cooler....

Someone made a comment how hot I seamed to be running. My fans seem to run a lot, I then installed the K&N and it seemed to help a little. I went to the car wash (do it yourself) and have a good blasting in the holes to the little side radiators and blew out a lot of garbage (rocks, leaves) I would suggest making sure NOTHING is getting in front of the air flow.

i'm in HI and car ran to right side of 0 in 180 in traffic- i was looking at 3rd rad but i put in fan mod switch so i can turn fans on high when i want. whenever i'm in traffic which is most of time in Honolulu, temp stays right on middle of 0 now. mod is very easy to do. try it you'll like it
