next would be a MB CLS
If I sell the P-car a 996TT or 997S will do just fine for me

If I'm living la vida loca it would be through the F430

The wife wanted a new red cab in 2007.

By the time I loaded this 997 C2 S red cab up it was $112,000,, I said why not get the TT for another $20K, so close that I really stepped up.

To please her we keep the sun roof open most of the time and it surfices as a defacto cab.

There is 180 ° difference between my 996 cab and the new TT,, an amazing car in every aspect. I did love the cab though for being a classy convertible but,,, this new turbo,, ROCKS

Funny thing is I really would like a new F430 Scudera or a Gallarado BUT i live very far from a dealer.

I called the Lambo dealer in South Fl and said If my car broke down 200 miles from your dealership under warranty does Lambo pay for shipping to the dealer as Porsche does.. NO

Same with Ferarri

I need to have a dealership within 20 miles of me so I ll stick with Porsches.

I am sure in 3 years there will be a super-duper turbo that will make me say,, its 180 ° better than my 997 tt.. (hard to fathom now tho)

Next Car---Hate to think about it!!

Considering I'm getting married in July of this year I'm afraid of what is coming! She says I can keep the C4S but my friends say other. It's bad enough I drive a 2008 Camry as my daily driver, but I know kids will be in our future so SUV, no way on a Mini Van! Have to put my foot down.

Congrats on the pending nuptials. My wife and I just tied the knot on St. Patrick’s Day of last year, and we have our first bun in the oven.

I’d love to get an F car someday, but recent priorities have taken center stage. First we bought a house on the other side of town to be closer to her parents (free daycare). We went on the honeymoon, are making preparations for the baby, bought her the AWD Nissan Rogue when her Bug started becoming unreliable, -- all while I’m working and going to school. With all this going on, if I didn’t get the 996 now, who knows when I could do it?

I have a friend who had a Ferrari 348 Serie Speciale for about 6 years and sold it as soon as he had his first baby. He had a second child, but it has been about 6 years, and now he’s itching for a Gallardo.

He’ll have a fun time convincing his wife that “Gallardo” is Italian for “grocery getter.”

Best regards,

Joe

You should see how it feels driving a 2004 Cavalier as a winter beater/bad weather driver. Makes me appreciate my Pcar though.

Planning on keeping the Pcar for a while, but upgrading to a 5-series BMW later this year for the winter/daily.

What about a 93 corolla, it's great to look at peoples faces when I drive around in that, had it since new and no issues.

Plan is to keep feeding the piggybank to save for a pre-owned 997 TT in 3-4 years. Meanwhile having fun lightly modding the 996 Targa.

I happen to think the 08 camry's are pretty nice! No matter where I am in life, I'll always have a camry sitting in the stable as a daily. So reliable. lol
