Question Mirrors Cloudy???

I tried searching but did not find anything.

My C4S has the auto dimming/heated exterior mirrors.

Sometimes they are clear as a bell, and other times they look cloudy/milkey.

Is this a known issue? Anyone else have this problem? If so, is there any fix other than replacement?

TIA

I've got that same problem on my side windows. The "foggy-ness" is on the inside of the glass. (not inside of the car... but inside the glass. I want it gone. Any ideas? Wonder if the Germans haven't perfected the art of clear glass?

Mines an '04 996.
Brando, when are they clear? Does it have something to do with the weather, do you think?
