How long should stock brake pads last with no track time?

How long should stock brake pads last with no track time?
Just curious. Having some brake work done and wondering if it's worth doing the pads now. The car only has about 12K miles. No real hard driving, just cruising around on the weekends.

Mine has over 26K miles and the brake sensor warning light just came on 2 weeks ago at a track day, no less.
So I think yours should still have plenty of "meat" on them still, Deputy.

I have 27000 miles on my car, zero track days (Not by choice ) and probably 75% of my pads left. The OEM brakes are amazingly resilient and can go for a long time depending on usage.
