gauges and spark plug questions

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering have any of you guys install any oil or water temp. gauges in your 996? If so, do we have to drill any holes??
And How often would you guys change the spark plug, i heard some of my friends said it's pain in the *** to change the spark plug in porsche (except Cayenne), is that ture? how much labour around does it cost??
Plz let me know, guys

Thank you soooooo much for answering..
Alan

All 996's have water temp gauges and oil pressure gauges stock.

Beverly Hills Porsche quoted me $600 to change plugs- what's up with that? Normal or outrageous?

If you run a search for plugs, you'll see that your quote is within the normal range.
