Buying but concerned
The early 996's are crap IMO and had all kind of little gremlins. Everytime I see one at my mechanics shop they are always having issues and he agrees. The 3.4L, blah. Find a 02' and be done with it IMO

I'll let you know on Saturday when I get her to my house.
Yeah looks good Man...Check the maintenance records and see if clutch, coolant tank and ignition switch were already replaced or not? If not you may want to consider those repairs in the near future. The ignition switch is no big deal though, but coolant tank could be tougher if you want to DIY. Clutch will depend on the previous driver, so good luck... Cheers,
It's almost Saturday, betcha won't be getting much sleep tonight
Enjoy the new to you car. Looks like you'll be able to actually drive it this weekend.

Sorry guys I have been out of town since I picked up the car ( Easter getaway ) Well the car is fantastic, a real blast to drive. I have put about 500 miles on her since I picked her up. I really love the roll on power in the upper gears (5th/6th ) I got her up to about 110 mph like nothing only to be out done when my Aunt took her out ( 120 mph ). I'm dropping the car off today to have the mass air flow sensor replaced and have one rim that is a little bent straightened out. I also bought new updated tail lights, so no more pumpkins. I'm really looking forward to see what see is like when everything is done. The only question I have is will I notice a difference with the new mass air flow sensor?.
