I would like to thank my sister for getting me the class and my bother in law and his brother for going. We had a great time and ask J Lewis if he remembers the three Long Island boys! We won the auto X chalenge by 1 minte over the next closest group. Get a lot of sleep and drive the track in your head. Braking and bipping are a must!
Good Luck,

Great to hear this! I'm scheduled to attend the June 17th class. My wife gave me this as a gift and I'm going with a buddy. I usually track my car about 3-4 times per month and was hoping to improve my overall driving skills with this course.

Sounds to me, like this driving school is pretty worthwhile. I'm really looking forward to it!

I'm looking at my schedule for this school as well. When i raced motorcycles, I went to quite a few schools and I know it helps tremendously. Oddly enough, most of the time its just getting the basics down, which is much easier to say than do when you're screaming into a corner at 140.

I am interested in trying to attend driving school, I have never done anything like it before and would like to attend an driving lesson. I'm trying to go in with as open of a mind as I can. I know each of these instructors are better than I... and I hope I can learn from them... I know they will teach, it's up to me to learn though.

The Porsche Sport Driving School is FANTASTIC

the host hotel was absolutely amazing

the views from my room, I had a corner room above the pool

driving exercises were very well thought out, challenging and informative ...

the cars .. .well, they are P-Cars

We drove all of them ... Cayenne, Cayenne Turbo, Cayman, Cayman S, Boxster, Boxster S, Carrera, and even a 20 minute session in the Carrera S

The track ... top notch with no expense spared

it's a Wilson design but, better executed than most

they do have a little bug issue ;D

the competitions were also fun .. who do you think won the AutoX ?

If you ever have a chance to go to the Porsche Sport Driving School I highly recommend it. The instructors were truly professional, helpful, polite and very well versed in high performance driving instructions. ... the #1 instructor is Hurley Heywood, yes he won the 24 hours of LeMans a few times, and all of the others were either former or current professional racers ...

Everything, and I mean everything, the facilities, the cars, the food and the people were all fantastic

don't forget to check out the onsite motorcycle museum

I went 10 years ago, 6 months after the Porsche school moved to the new Barber track. The track is great, should have decent weather but be prepared for rain!
