Interested in taking the CDR23 out of my '03 996 coupe to gain capability, but understand from others online that it is a major task. Since I also have the M680 Bose amp, understand it has to go as well. Can anyone that has upgraded from this factory configuration give me any info on what if any of the factory configuration they were able to use, and whether they replaced the amp or wired directly from the head unit to the speakers?
