high oil pressures

I have noticed that my oil pressure seems to be running on the high side. When cold my pressure guage seems pinned at the 5. When it warms up it drops to around 4 at 2500-3000 RPM's. This is higher than the values called out in the owners manual. Has anybody else seen this or is this normal? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Normal and as designed. Don't believe everything in the manual. You should idle with no less than 1.5 bar and anything over 3000 rpm should show 4 bar+.

I recently had a bad oil pressure gauge which would consistently read 4 bar when warm. It's a pretty cheap fix - like $50 + maybe 15 mins of labor.
