Powdercoated My Hollow Spoke Carrera Classics
Erubin, I'm with you and have to ask the same question? What are they then? From my understanding, from wheel experts and the powdercoater, they all verified that they are hollow spokes. This is important to powdercoaters so that they can properly set the oven so NOT to disturb the tensile strength of the wheel, especially that they confimed them being hollow spokes. I trust the experts. But yeah, the matte black turned out better thatn I had imagined.
ACPporsche996, I will cruise by this week. Through my company, I have the industry deal, $200 bucks to sandblast, powdercoat and put in the oven. CONGRATS ON THE NEW PURCHASE....WHERE'S THE PICS????

well technically they are the 2002 996 lightweight Carrera 5-Spoke 18", the carrera classics were 19" that came on the later models...997, both are cast wheels, but whats the verdict on the hollow spokes?
