Aftermarket body parts (any good?)

I specifically want to find a Carrera Rear Spoiler.

The current "Deploy@75mph-then proceed to vibrate from 110-140mph" rear spoiler is bugging me. I want a fixed unit.

(Yes, the vibration is a problem...I live in Frankfurt)

Is the fit/finish on any aftermarket stuff worth the savings?

I would have just gotten the carrera rear spoiler option when I bought the car, if I had known that the motorized spoiler would be so flimsy.

I'd appreciate any opinions from those of you who've bought aftermarket body stuff. Who makes the best?

Has anyone here bought and installed a carrera rear spoiler on their own 996?

Thanks,

Rob

Try Techart I'm very happy with mine. Very solid and no vibrations at 3 digit speeds.

You can still buy the Carrera spoiler from Porsche. Or get an aftermarket spoiler from MA Shaw or Getty Design. They made some good stuff.

I recommend OEM, sometimes you do save money with aftermarket parts, however, the bodyshop will charge you extra as aftermarket parts are never the same quality and finish as OEM.
