I know that p0rsch3 installed that killer GT3 lip on his stock 996 NB front bumper and I was wondering if the carbon fiber GT3 front lip would install just like p0rsch3's did. I am aware of the cutting that was involved in p0rsch3 GT3 front lip install and I could have a body shop handle that procedure.

if it's the exact same specs as the standard plastic lip, then yes it will fit. Just follow the same DIY. You'll have to cut off the amount that protrudes into the fender wells. So in your case perhaps mount it up to the car, mark where the cuts should go then take it off to have it cut and finished. Then slap it back on.

IMO it will look bad *** but you will end up ruining the CF lip if you daily drive your car. Can't help but scrape it. Post pics when it's done though!

 

Thank You. I'll call prestige later this week, after my school projects and presentations are finished. It's my weekend toy so im not too worried about the scrapes but if it was my daily I wouldnt even consider this.
