Anyone running RS98's?

Hey all who have put on GT3 wings, I still need info on how you did your wing wiring for transfer of the decklid fan and light.

Yeah Roc- you and me both! It's going to be a few weeks before it is on and done though, am leaving next Friday to go visit family / friends for 10 days (Maui and Oahu). Much needed vacation!!

I doubt I'll have time to get the wing back from the body shop and installed before then, but we'll see. And I still have to make up my mind on frigging wheels. I swear I feel like a chick trying to find shoes to match the handbag... LMAO.

There's a set of Advan RS wheels for sale by a 6speed member and they look pretty sweet. Ben's suggestion on HRE wheels is spot on, and there's also that set of black Axis wheels w/ silver rim stripe from Vivid.. Tough choices!

Here's my silver work wheels...sorry Kurt I don't have an answer to your wiring question. The kit and wing were already installed when I got the car. Hope someone can help. Enjoy your vacation.

Only in the summer.

I tow a jetski to the lake. Everyone told me it couldn't be done, I was sure it could and apparently so was Todd at EVOMS in Arizona. He made it.

:-)

I think someone mentioned trailer park. You're right ! I booked a weekend at a lake up near Napa (as you can see with Jetski in tow) and when I got there is was a damn trailer park !!!!!

I wasn't worried about the 911, I was more worried about the wheels being stolen off the trailer !

Not a fan of that wing at all, it reminds me of the air force's radar plane that has the huge circular disc on its roof.

Cap- thanks for the pic, your wheels look hot. Hey would it be possible to take a pic of the underside of your decklid? I just want to get a feel for the finished look adn routing of the wires.

Boxzing- LOL that is funny! Hey maybe it will help me located hiding CHP officers?

As for the wiring... call a dealer, ask for the mk2 aerokit harness. This harness will bypass the check spoiler wing limit switch and wont trigger a light. Your 3rd brake light will also work with thew ne harness.

How is this decklid any different from the one sold by MaShaw and Getty Design?

$1375 for the replica at MaShaw.

$1370 at Getty Design

Certainly $900 is much cheaper, but I would imagine inbound shipping would cost a few hundred dollars also?

I'm sure the production quality is the same, i'm waiting to hear back on total cost and if I can arrange forum pricing.

Thanks- I know there is a pin jump to fix the wing warning light if I use the existing harness on the factory deck, however there is no 3rd brake light on the GT3 deck so that shouldn't be a problem (hoping).
