Oil Leak - Chain Cover?

99 C2-Facing the rear of the car I have noticed a small quarter size leak midway down the left side of the engine.

It is not the center so it isn't the RMS. I asked one of the local shops and they said it was the timing chain cover.

Has anyone had a similar leak. What did you do and is there an easy fix or is this a engine pull?

The shop recommended that I live with it until 60K. I have 37 K on it now. I woudl prefer not to live with the leak.

I think the leak is likely from the valve cover, should be an easy fix.
