If you are sponsored by Iforged I was told they have u rock 2 sets to show off the different rims they have. If you think about it they will never be seen at the same time being on different sides, so usually no one will notice.

I would have also just got 997 turbo

I also wouldnt trailer it everywhere, drive it, thats what its meant for.

What bugs me the most is how the painted lip doesnt match the orange of the car. Just off enough to make it look bad.

very nice show car. a lot of work must went into it.

seeing that i can see how 996 to 997 is not a complete conversion. the line is still a bit off.

Conversion

Looks a bit overdone to me, but there are somethings I really like. Sad to see it on a car carrier, DRIVE IT!

???

you only have one set for your car?

It seems no one else has a show car or a race car. When you have either built to the extent of that car, you dont risk driving it on the street. You indeed TRAILER it to whatever event and and then use it for the purpose you built it for. I'd bet the owner has another vehicle, probably tuned as well, for 'daily' use.

Same for the orange lip, its that color because he/she wanted it that color. With the detail and expense put into the rest of the car, if the owner wanted a match, it would indeed match.

IMO i love everything about it, especially the wheels. Color style size fitment... PERFECT.

btw,

drifter swap out rears more often then the fronts, thats why they are usually different. You dont swap left/right pairs. That usually indicates a show car displaying two different looks- as noted by someone else about the wheel sponsor.

I applaud the effort, but I cannot get past the rear tires sticking out past the wheel wells.
