great looking... i love that 997 shifter... is it a simple plug and play for that....? i have the short shifter already, but i don't like the shifter we have on the 996...... can i just get the 997 shifter and put it in?

The shifter is a very simple install. The shifter is the same, all you have to do is cut the boot off the 996 shifter and zip tie it to the 997 shifter. The whole install took about 10 mins.
