I think that was a project to get some ram air going. If I remember it was piped out to inlets like the turbo quarters........

Where did you find that picture? I think I know what that is.. think electric fans inside the two large canisters.

yeah.....but those are the 80mm Pentium Ultimate cooler fans in there....slight mod needed for the 12v running power.

Any and all benefits from increased air is more than offset by the increase in heat passing through those tubes. Heat mean less density. Looks like a trailer park mod to me.
